Catoctin Creek Rye finished in an apple brandy barrel has been worth waiting for. Longtime friends and fans have been lobbying for this release for a long time - I was listening! Nosing it reminds me of the anticipation as you crunch into one of my favorite autumn treats of my youth, a fresh juicy caramel apple.

Catoctin Creek’s 6-year-old American Malt Whisky could be called "A Walk in the Woods." After 6 years in a 30 gallon barrel, we gained some proof here, but the mouthfeel tames all the intensity. Hushed and beautiful, like a path through an old growth forest.
Members will have the ability to purchase a second
members-only bottle once they are released.

Each quarter, members of The Cornerstone Club will be hosted for a special, themed event featuring a fun social activity, a curated tasting, and camaraderie. Join us for a one-of-a-kind chance to taste through some incredible pours, tasty cocktails, and gain firsthand knowledge about the process from some of the most creative minds in the industry.

Welcome Event - Whisky Flavor & Pairing Explorations
Embark on a tasting journey that begins with a 1-year-aged whisky and culminates with a 7-year release. As Cornerstone Club members sip through the batches, we’ll explore and analyze the evolution of flavor profiles throughout the aging process. The experience will also feature carefully curated food pairings—small bites designed to complement and contrast the unique elements of each whisky.

Summer Family BBQ Dinner
Cornerstone Club members are invited to a special summer BBQ featuring a tasting of our Curaçao Barrel Finish Rye release—including a curated cocktail tasting, thoughtfully paired with classic barbecue favorites. Members will then have the opportunity to hear from Scott and Becky as they share the story of the founding of Catoctin Creek and its history, and engage in a lively Q&A session.

Fall Harvest Cocktail Party
To celebrate the release of our Apple Brandy Finish Rye, Cornerstone Club members are invited to a tasting of three fall-inspired cocktails. Join Scott & Becky as they share insights into why whisky pairs perfectly with the season—from fall-spiced cocktails to Thanksgiving dinner pairings, and even savoring a pour by the fire on a crisp autumn evening. The experience is complemented by seasonal bites and desserts thoughtfully paired to highlight the unique flavors of the season.

Repeal Day Ball
Join your fellow Cornerstone club members for an unforgettable Repeal Day celebration, marking the anniversary of the end of Prohibition! Step back into the glamour of the Roaring Twenties—cocktail attire is appropriate and 1920s-inspired outfits are highly encouraged (but not required). Get ready for a dazzling event featuring live music and cocktails—flowing like we imagine they did back on December 5th, 1933. Join us for a spirited gathering that will toast history in style!

What is the Cornerstone Club?

The Cornerstone Club is an exclusive, members-only community designed for the most passionate Catoctin Creek whisky enthusiasts. As a member, you’ll gain access to rare and limited-edition whiskys, exclusive events, behind-the-scenes experiences, and unique insights directly from our Founders Scott & Becky.. It’s more than just a membership—it’s a journey into the heart of Catoctin Creek, where you become part of our inner circle and celebrate the craft of whisky with like-minded aficionados.

What if I am in the Rye Society and decide not to join the Cornerstone Club?

For those who do not decide to join the Cornerstone Club, but are still members of the Rye Society, please note that we are sunsetting the Rye Society, but that their membership benefits (dinner credit and retail store credit of 20% off) will still be valid until their current membership renewal date.

What are the membership options?

There are two options for membership:

‍Family Membership - This includes a membership for two people (1 primary member along with their additional person). A Family Membership always includes 2 people for events.
‍
‍Family Memberships do not include a bottle for each person.

‍‍Individual Membership - This is for one person only. Individuals may purchase a plus 1 ticket at select events depending on capacity.
‍
‍Both memberships include 1 welcome box at the initial enrollment welcome event along with 1 bottle per quarter.

Each quarter, members will be presented with a bottle of Catoctin Creek’s rarest and most sought-after whisky, created or handpicked just for members.. These bottles represent some of our finest and most innovative creations, carefully curated to offer a unique tasting experience with each release. These selections are nearly impossible to find anywhere else, making each bottle a true treasure for any whisky connoisseur. It’s our way of bringing the best of Catoctin Creek into their home, ensuring they always have something exceptional to enjoy.

Invitations to members-only events
Members will be invited to a variety of exclusive events, both in-person and online, designed to deepen their connection with Catoctin Creek. From private distillery tours and behind-the-scenes experiences to exclusive tasting sessions and special release previews, these events offer unique opportunities to immerse themselves in the world of whisky. Whether they’re meeting our Founders, Scott & Becky, or connecting with fellow enthusiasts, each event is crafted to be memorable, giving members a chance to savor the finest Catoctin Creek has to offer and be a part of our close-knit community.

Do both tiers have the same benefits?

Yes! The only difference between the Family Memberships include 2 people for all events, while Individual Memberships only include 1 person. All other benefits are the same.

Do I have to pay for the bottles included in membership?

No, members don’t have to pay for the bottles included in the membership. As a Cornerstone Club member, members will receive exclusive and rare whiskys each quarter as part of your membership benefits—these are covered by their annual membership dues. Additionally, as a member, they’ll be among the first to know about special bottle releases before they are announced to the general public. While these special releases are available for purchase, member’s early access ensures you have the first opportunity to secure them.

Can I change my membership?

‍Membership cancellations: Membership can be canceled at any time, no questions asked. Members on the annual payment plan will receive a prorated refund for the remaining period of their subscription.For members on the quarterly payment plan, membership remains active until the end of the quarter and will not be charged for following quarters.

‍Membership transfers: Memberships cannot be transferred to anyone else.

Can my plus 1 purchase a bottle?

Depending on availability, members’ plus ones will be able to purchase an additional bottle at each member event. These must be purchased on-site and cannot be shipped.
